In a brash publicity stunt, Tender Gooch Racing and F3 Designs have signed-on as sponsors of the 2010 Pace Bend race hosted by the Austin Ridge Riders. In a tin-can and bailing wire telephone interview from his trailhead sanctuary, Pace Bend trailboss and Team Meatweapons grubmlelord Meatball Throwing star said “Yep, it’s realgood that them racerbois is gonna give the ARR summa their hard earned greenbacks. Them fancylads over at TGR are a buncha highfalootin’ pencilnecked geeks anyway, and anything that keeps them from spendin’ money on shiny new bike parts is a good thing, in my book.”

Embrogooch, TGR’s ambassador to the redneck TMW clan, has issued a statement claiming that the sponsorship is no more than an acknowledgment that the trails at Pace Bend are fresh, fun and full of TGR’s handiwork with a Pulaski.

Racers, spectators and smelly dogs visiting Pace Bend Park on March 28th will be able to view a spectacular showing from TGR, bamboo and wool cycling caps from F3 Designs, and perhaps some custom frame & seat bags.
